The REZ Factor - Heat 8

Heat 8 was quite well attended but only drew
a total of five entrants in the competition.
1st up on the night was Karaoke Kris who this time tried his luck with "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles. It was a good song choice and went down well with the audience. He was rewarded with third place for his efforts.
Singing next was Peter who this week had a go at The Beatles classic "Hey Jude". I think he did the song justice but it dragged on a bit too long for him at the end. He received a nice round of applause as i faded it out at the end.
Our third singer was Tony who sang "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. Tony really belted this out, as always, and had the audience singing along with him in the chorus. He received a nice clap and cheer from the audience.
Next up was Alan who tried his luck this week with "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. A good popular song choice which pleased the audience and he received a big round of applause and a cheer as the outro played out.
And finally we had out only female of the night, Kim. She belted out the Bryan Adams classic number "Summer of '69". It was a good confident performance and it was rewarded by gaining 2nd place on the night.
So that was it for another heat and yet again the audience decided who they wanted to win by voting for their favourite singer.
Finally it was revealed that the heat 8 winner was..
ALAN !
Alan come up to received his free drinks and confirmed his place in the Grand Final on 1st April !
