The REZ Factor - Heat 10
Thursday 14th April 2011
Well considering it was the last heat in the Rez Factor, it was a disappointing turn out but nevertheless we still had six entrants who battled it out for the last place in next weeks grand final.
Singing first was Christine who sang "All I Wanna Do" by Heart. Sung very confidently, it was delivered very well and she received a good round of applause as she finished.
Singing next was John who had a go for the last time at "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus. Always a very powerful singer, John hit all the main notes to receive a welcome round of applause.
Singing third was Kassy who went back to one of her favourite songs and performed "The Rose" by Bette Midler. It was sung to perfection and was much appreciated by the audience.
Up next was Alan who this week had a go at "Woman" by John Lennon. One of Alan's (and his wife's) favourite songs, it was performed very well indeed and he received a good cheer as he finished.
The penultimate singer was Ed who this time performed "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers. Ed always sings with confidence and it showed in this performance of this popular ballad. He received a nice round of applause.
And finally we had Danny who entered for the first time with "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Scirpt. It was sung very well and went down well with the audience who give him a good round of applause as he finished.
So that was it. The votes went out for the last time for the audience to decide who they wanted to win the final heat.
The vote was incredibly close, so close in fact that the last person that voted decided who the winner would be.
So in 3rd place was Danny.
Missing out by a single vote into 2nd place was Alan.
But the winner of Heat 10 and the last place in next weeks grand final was......
Kassy Keenan !!
Kassy came up to receive her six free drinks and accepted her place in next weeks grand final.
